In an effort to reduce heart disease in Calvert County, Calvert Memorial Hospital is hosting a Healthy Heart Expo on Thursday, February 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Outpatient Concourse at the hospital.
Participants can have their personal cardiac risk assessed and many free health screenings: vascular, blood pressure, body composition analysis and lung function testing. There will be health professionals available to discuss diabetes education and smoking cessation as well as opportunities to have a one-on-one conversation with Ask-the-Doctor, Pharmacist and Nurse. Heart healthy refreshments will be served.
Preregistration is required for the personal cardiac risk assessment and vascular screening.
