EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Clinical field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS: Certification or credentialing in a relevant healthcare clinical field (MT, RT, RRT, etc.) or RN Licensure.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three years prior experience in an information systems position or hospital department supporting IT applications preferred. Prior MEDITECH Hospital experience preferred. Computer proficiency required in word processing, presentation graphics, and spreadsheet applications. Highly developed and demonstrated oral and written communication skills required. Must work well in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Position is responsible for support of ancillary clinical and administrative applications and particiaptes on project teams. The Clinical Systems Analyst will report to the Systems Integration Manager. |

LICENSES: MD Pharmacy License.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires 2-3 years related experience.
Reviews written medication orders and prescriptions to determine ingredients, strength and dosage required. This includes a professional judgment concerning the appropriateness of the medical selected relative to potential allergies, toxicity, and adverse drug reactions with other medications ordered. When necessary, contacts the physician to clarify orders and/or make recommendations concerning alternate therapy. |
