Fellowship-trained at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Hubayter provides highly individualized care, advanced treatment for infertility and minimally invasive therapy for gynecologic disorders. He was the first to introduce single incision laparoscopy at Calvert Memorial Hospital. He evaluates, diagnoses and treats conditions that affect infertility such as fibroids, endometriosis, irregular periods and abnormalities of the reproductive tract. He also has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics.
Couples who are experiencing difficulty getting pregnant describe him as personable and informative. "I spend as much time with these patients as needed," said Dr. Hubayter. "Most important is to identify the actual cause prior to any treatment. Often, all that is required is very minimal and modest treatment."
Dr. Hubayter graduated from American University of Beirut School of Medicine in 2001. He went on to complete his OB/GYN residency at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2006. He also has a master’s in public health from George Washington School of Public Health and a MBA in medical service management from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He is currently chairman of the OB/GYN department at CMH and serves on several leadership committees.
His special interests include minimally invasive surgeries and the treatment of infertility as well as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and chronic pelvic pain.
