Calvert Hematology and Oncology

Board-certified oncologists Dr. Bilal Ahmed and Dr. Arati Patel and board-certified oncology nurse practitioner Sandra Cassell-Corbin provide comprehensive, compassionate care for patients with cancer and blood disorders and their families. The practice provides a full range of treatments and support services that can be tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Their services include evaluation, consultations, follow-up care, genetic counseling and survivorship planning as well as management of chemotherapy and infusion therapy. Throughout treatment, patients are closely monitored by the entire healthcare team. Additionally, the group has an excellent nursing staff that is a great resource for cancer care information.

Recently, they moved into Suite 105 in the Calvert Medical Office Building (next to Calvert Memorial Hospital) in Prince Frederick. The new office is much larger and ideally located close to outpatient phlebotomy and the infusion center for those patients receiving chemotherapy at CMH. The spacious design of the new suite can comfortably accommodate many more patients and has an expanded area for patient education.
