Dr. Medic is board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and pain syndromes. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed her PM&R residency at Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia. She is also trained to perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies for further diagnosis of nerve and muscle conditions.

“As a physiatrist, I take a comprehensive approach to patient care that looks at the whole person,” said Dr. Medic, “not just one symptom or condition.”

She went on to add, “My goal is to work with you to create a treatment plan that carefully and effectively approaches your pain, injury or disability in the healthiest and most effective manner.”

“This means taking your whole body into account,” said Dr. Medic, “such as your nerves, muscles and bones, to treat injuries and illnesses that affect how you move and accurately pinpoint problems to enhance performance without surgery.”
