"I was admitted to Labor and Delivery at Calvert Memorial and kept on bed rest for four weeks with my son Nathan before I could be transferred to Johns Hopkins." Denise had her laptop with her and the ability to "work from home" - now her hospital bed - but found it almost impossible to position the laptop for use.
Denise says, "Staff quickly built and delivered a custom laptop holder allowing me to work from my bed and not use up my leave."
She added, "The care I received was just excellent. The nurses answered all of our tough questions and Dr. Althaus explained what to expect."
She really liked the amenities and "it was very nice to be local where friends and family could visit."
