The Calvert Memorial Hospital Foundation recently awarded scholarships to 19 students pursuing higher education in an allied health field. Since the program began in 1991, it has awarded more than $450,000 to 343 local students. Theresa Johnson, Executive Director of the Foundation, says, “Our 2016 scholarship recipients are a group of extraordinary individuals. We are proud to have such a diverse group of people interested in health care, some pursuing careers and others who are furthering their educational goals.”
