CMH Hurricane Preparedness
Please be advised that as a precaution related to the impending storm, the Urgent Care Centers located in Dunkirk and Solomons will be closed this evening, Monday, October 29, 2012. Persons with urgent medical needs are encouraged to utilize the main emergency department in Prince Frederick.
In addition, Calvert Physician Associates practices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30, 2012. This includes: Calvert Primary Care at Solomons, Prince Frederick and North Beach; Calvert Surgical Care; Calvert Gastroenterology; Calvert Otolaryngology; Calvert Women’s Center and Calvert Hematology and Oncology. On-call physicians can still be reached for emergencies through the hospital operators and updated information will be available on each practice’s direct phone line.These practices are also likely to be closing early today and will be contacting patients as appropriate.
Other hospital related closures and updates will be continue to be posted as needed.
Update as of noon 10/28/2012:
The outpatient laboratories at the Calvert Medical Arts Center and the Solomons Medical Building will be closing today at noon and will remain closed through the day tomorrow. Patients with urgent medical needs should use the main emergency department in Prince Frederick.
Other non-critical hospital services may also be closed tomorrow, 10/29/2012, including the Center for Breast Care, the Infusion Center, and the Pain Management Center among others. Patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted directly.
